Community Food Project
We'll do sorting on Monday & Tuesday afternoons (at the old Butcher Boy - across the street from First Methodist Church). I will have the building open, and tables set up to facilitate sorting the cans into categories.
Wednesday morning we'll start assembling the boxes around 9 am. The more people we have, the better.
We'll deliver the boxes after our meeting Wednesday. If we have 20 drivers, each delivery team would have about 5 boxes (we're doing about 110 boxes).
Note:
1. I will post updates at here.
2. This is a good project to involve your kids in. It's an opportunity for them to learn to be in service to others. Most of them will be out of school.
